Kyler Murray is trying to heal from his injury while Aaron Rodgers is working toward clearing Covid protocols ahead of Sunday. WEEK 10 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em

Kyler Murray injury update

Murray (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, and likely won’t take the practice field all week. That said, we know Kliff Kingsbury is fine with starting Murray without practice based on his comments last week. It will all come down to how Murray’s ankle feels closer to game time, just as it did in Week 9 when he was ruled inactive 90 minutes before kickoff.

If he does play, we rank him as the QB5 despite a tough matchup with Carolina. This offense is too good, and he’s too mobile to ever drop him below about that spot. Of course, his rushing upside could be limited by the ailing ankle, but we don’t see a scenario where you could ever bench him. If he can’t play, Colt McCoy is his backup, and despite success last week, he should be benched in single-QB leagues.

WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Aaron Rodgers COVID update

Rodgers (reserve/COVID said there is a “small possibility” he won’t play Sunday against the Seahawks. For now, it seems like he’ll be available, but just know the possibility exists he misses a second straight game. There’s no point or need to speculate here, so just keep up with these updates heading into the weekend. We’ll know whether he’s been activated off the reserve/COVID list on Saturday.

WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Seattle has been better against quarterbacks than you might expect (22nd in fantasy points allowed per game), but we don’t worry about this matchup at all for Rodgers, especially since he’ll presumably be ready to come out a make a statement. We rank him as the QB7 for Week 10. If he can’t go, Jordan Love will be ranked near the bottom of all quarterbacks based on what we saw against Kansas City.
