YouTube TV Confirms You Can Now Customize Your Multiview Experiences Picking The Games You Want

Google has officially confirmed that YouTube TV users can now customize their Multiview experience by selecting the games they want to watch in the Multiview window. This feature allows customers to watch up to four sporting or news events simultaneously on the same screen. Previously, users were limited to premade Multiview options provided by YouTube TV, but now they have the ability to pick the specific games they want in their Multiview window.

This customization feature was recently tested with NBA League Pass subscribers, allowing them to select games from a list and create a Multiview channel to watch the chosen games. Google clarified that this feature is coming to all devices that support Multiview, and users can create these channels from preselected NBA games. However, users are currently limited to choosing from a list of preselected games, and they cannot pick any channel they want.

This update aims to address the issue of users struggling to find the games they want within the same Multiview window. Google has previously acknowledged the demand for customizable Multiview, and this recent development is seen as a step toward fulfilling that demand. While the current feature is limited to preselected games, there is hope that YouTube TV will offer full customization options in the future.
