Body found in Washington, DC trash can identified

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has identified the body found in a Southwest D.C. trash can in early January as 42-year-old Harry Keels from Washington, D.C. The discovery was made after officers responded to a report of human remains on January 3 at approximately 9:25 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers located the body of a man inside a trash can.

Subsequently, the body was transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy. The results revealed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound, and the authorities have classified it as a homicide.
